About Leslie Koonce

The owner of Koonce Financial Services for 36 years, Leslie Koonce led the Menlo Park firm in providing personalized planning and financial solutions for more than 400 individual and business clients. Serving clients throughout northern California, Leslie Koonce offered a range of insurance, investment, pension, and benefits guidance to help clients reach their financial objectives. Leslie Koonce holds a bachelor of business administration in business accounting from the Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.

In recognition of his professional accomplishments, Mr. Koonce received the Insurance Professional of the Year Award from Peninsula Life Underwriters. A former president of the Penn Mutual Life Agents Advisory Council, he served as a board member and president of the Peninsula Life Underwriters Association.

Outside of work, Mr. Koonce stays active through a combination of tennis and riding his Peloton bike. An avid runner, he has participated in four marathons to date. For the past 15 years, he has contributed to a program that provides Christmas meals for individuals experiencing homelessness.
